934 Peripheral Interface
The new 934PI solves the problem of interfacing between 900 Series Equipment and the 619 Audio Bridge or the 9412 AMU. It will also connect to any other 4-wire + E&M signalling device via either port.
Separate 8-way ports allow direct connection to either the 619 Audio Bridge or the 9412AMU. The 6-way port connects to the peripheral (either 920D/T or 960C handset port) and a 4-way port allows for control of the intercom function and the console muting facility.
The unit is fully approved to the TS001 standard. This allows for any non-approved audio equipment to be interfaced into PABX networks. It provides isolated 600ohm balanced 4-wire audio lines and bi-directional relay contact control lines. Four internal links allow the unit to be configured to suit a range of different equipment. These link settings cover:
PTT SEL - for high or low PTT output phase
HOLD - to convert pulsing busy signal to a steady state (i.e. 950 Radio Management System)
TERM - sets input impedance (high or 600 ohms)
The unit is supplied in a small "Jiffy box" enclosure (130x67x46mm), with mounting hardware and interface cables provided. It is factory configured for the most common applications and as it has no operator controls or indicators, it can be easily mounted out of sight.
Easy to set up.
Provides simple interface between equipment.
Interfacing 9412AMU into a 950 system (via 960C handset port).
Adding a handset or console to a 619EI/GI for monitoring.
Connecting 900 series into 4-wire + E&M lines.
